Adult day services are defined by National Adult Day Service Association as “coordinated programs of professional and compassionate services for adults in a community-based group setting. Services are designed to provide social and health services to adults who need supervised care in a safe place outside the home during the day. ”Golden Age Adult Day Center allows seniors to enjoy safe and productive days in a caring environment, while returning to the comfort and familiarity of home at night.
For many family caregivers, it can be difficult to admit that it’s time to get extra help caring for your loved one. The issues can become even more complicated when elderly loved ones, who have been used to living their whole lives independently, are opposed to getting outside “help” or allowing strangers to help them with daily tasks.

- PACE/PACENET - assistance with prescription medicine
- Rent Rebate - citizens whose income are below a certain threshold are entitled to a rent rebate from the government
- Energy/Utility Assistance (LIHEAP) - assistance with gas, electric, water bills
- Lifeline - assistance with phone bills.
- Maintenance repair notification - write notes to notify superintendents of any maintenance issues in their housing space.
